Family Groups

Would you like to attend a supportive, friendly family group with your child/ren?

Home-Start Lambeth runs three Family Groups at Children’s Centres across the borough of Lambeth. The groups provide a welcoming, friendly atmosphere to meet other parents and their children and speak to a variety of professionals about issues you may be having. There is also an opportunity for children to enjoy creative activities, songs, stories, toys & games and outside play.

Details of the groups are as follows:

Streatham

Mondays, 10am-11.30am, Woodmansterne Children’s Centre, Stockport Road, Streatham Vale
Buses 109, 250 (Arragon Gardens bus stop), Bus 118 (Rowan Crescent bus stop)

Brixton

Tuesdays, 10am-11.30am, Brixton Children’s Centre, Mostyn Road, off Brixton Road.

Buses 159, 59, 3, 133, 415 (Groveway bus stop)

Vauxhall

Thursdays, 10am-11.30am, Vauxhall Children’s Centre, Wickham Street, Vauxhall, behind Vauxhall Primary School and near Moffat Health Clinic. Buses 159, 59 and 3 (Windmill Row bus stop, then walk through to Vauxhall Street).

You should have children under 5 years of age and find it difficult to attend or feel part of other groups.

Please note, the groups are not open during school holidays.
